Q1. How do I find the Year of Manufacture of my Westwood or Countax tractor? 

A. Please go to the website countaxtractorspares.co.uk or westwoodtractorspares.co.uk depending on the make of your tractor. Once you are in the relevant website just below the logo in the top left hand corner of the page, you will see some tabs, saying Home....Help Guides.....FAQS....Testimonals....About Us

Please click on the Help Guides and then click on Identify your year, please read all this information. 

 

Q2. Where do I find the part numbers, once I have found the model and year of my Westwood or Countax tractor? 

A. Please go to the website countaxtractorspares.co.uk or westwoodtractorspares.co.uk depending on the make of your tractor. Once you are in the relevant website just below the  logo in the top left hand corner of the page, you will see some tabs, saying Home....Help Guides.....FAQS....Testimonals....About Us

Please click on the tab which says Help Guides and click on the Parts List and this will be the same for Countax, If your Countax is a C Series and before the year 2000, you will need to click on the first parts list in the section C Series Countax Tractors, or if it is a Westwood, you will need to click on the year of your tractor. This will then bring up a PDF illustrated parts catalogue, which you can download to look at or print off. 

Please have a look for the part you require on the diagram. Scroll down to the next page and look for the number from the diagram and next to this will be the part number and description.  

Please enter the part number you have found into the Search Box on the relevant website (Westwood or Countax) and if the part number gives you a list of parts on the same page look for the part number you have entered and if you cannot see it in the main heading for each part, please look for it as the old part number above the price

Please click on View More for more information. If it is the correct part you can then add the quantity you require to cart, if this all you require, please click on View Cart. 

Please click on the tab - Calculate Postage below the Proceed to Checkout tab in the right hand corner of this page. 

Please enter your Country, County (if not UK, please enter Region, state or province)  and your  postcode and click on Get a Quote for delivery charges, please click on the Postage Quote and then click on the Update Total, then please click on Proceed to Checkout to pay. 

If the part you require says “Your search returns no results” please e mail us (spares@gardentractorspares.co.uk)  the part numbers, quantities, your address and postcode, we can then e mail you back with prices, availability and cost of postage. 

 

Q3. How do I find the Model and Serial number from my Snapper or Toro Tractor? 

A. You will need to go to the website snappertractorspares.co.uk or torotractorspares.co.uk  depending on the make of your tractor. Once in the relevant website just below the logo in the top left hand corner of the page you will see some Tabs reading across the screen saying saying Home....Help Guides.....FAQS....Testimonals....About Us

Please click on the Help Guides tab and then click on the Identify Your Year, please read all this information.  (This shows how to identify your year, but this is not relevant, we need to establish the model of your machine and not the year) 

 

Q4. Where do I find the part numbers, once I have found the model and serial numbers from my Snapper or Toro? 

A. You will need click on Help Guides and click on Parts List, you will need to go to the relevant section for your tractor and then click on the parts list relevant to your model. This will then bring up a PDF illustrated parts catalogue, which you can download to look at or print off.

Q5. How do I find the Model, Type and Code from my Briggs and Stratton engine? 

A. You will need to go to the website briggsandstrattonparts.co.uk and just below the logo in the top left hand corner of the page, you will see some tabs, saying Home....Help Guides.....FAQS....Testimonals....About Us

 Please click on the Help Guides and then click on Identify your Engine, please read all this information.  

 

Q6. Where do I find the part numbers, once I have found the Model, Type and Code from my Briggs and Stratton engine? 

A. You will need to go to the website and click on the Help Guides tab and then click on Parts Lists.

Please go to the relevant section which starts with the first two digits from your model number and then click on the relevant parts catalogue. This will then bring up a PDF illustrated parts catalogue, which you can download to look at or print off. 

Please have a look for the part you require on the diagram. Scroll down through the pages until you come to the section where the numbers start and then look for the number from the diagram and next to this will be the part number and description. 

Please enter the part number you have found into the Search Box on the website and if the part number gives you a list of parts on the same page look for the part number you have entered and if you cannot see it in the main heading for each part, please look for it as the old part number above the price

Q7. If I enter the part number I find from the PDF parts catalogue into the Search Box on the website and it says "Your Search returns no results" what should I do?

A. You can e mail the part numbers, quantities, your address details and postcode to spares@gardentractorspares.co.uk and we will try to reply with prices, availability and cost of postage. Please enter in the subject line before e mailing PART NOT AVAILABLE 

 

Q8. If I find a part in your listings from the main menu which looks like my part and gives a description that is similar; does this mean it will fit my machine and that I do not have to look in the parts catalogues? 

A. NO, this does not mean it will fit. Before placing your order you will need to double check that it is the correct part by going through the process of finding out the year of your tractor and looking in the parts catalogues. Please scroll through this FAQ section to find the relevant question on how to find the correct parts. 

 

Q9. The Powered Grass Collector and the complete Net Assembly, will they fit my machine? 

A. Please click here and scroll down to Powered Grass Collector and Net Assembly Section and IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ ALL THIS INFORMATION and compare the photos with your machine 

 

 

Q10. If I place an order online for UK Mainland delivery only, when will I receive my parts? 

A. Normally, it will be despatched for next day delivery, smaller items go by Royal Mail and bigger items go with our courier. When ordering bigger items, for it to arrive next day, our despatch department would need to receive your order before 1pm. If you place an order on a Friday which needs to go with our courier, our despatch department would need to receive your order by 12pm, because we close at 12.30pm on a Friday and you will not receive it until Monday. 

If it is a Bank Holiday and you place your order on a Friday or over the weekend, it will not be despatched until Tuesday which means that you will receive it on Wednesday. 

This is not guaranteed but we do try our best to do this for you. 

 

Q11. If I am not available to sign for a delivery, can I specify instructions on where to leave my delivery? 

A. Yes you can. After placing your order online please e mail us your instructions to spares@gardentractorspares.co.uk. and enter in the subject line DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDER PLACED.

Q13. Will I receive an email confirmation?

A. You will only receive an e mail confirmation if you have registered and signed in and created an account. If you have ordered by registering as a guest you will not receive this confirmation
